Prosecco is a wine now considered native of the hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene , where the tradition and quality of the grapes express the best of its features. The vineyards are situated 200 and 380 meters above sea level, where the right exposure, composition of the soil and in particular the climate create a perfect microclimate which gives the wine its personality. Prosecco wine can be enjoyed throughout the meal or as an apertif. It can be an accompaniment to hors d'oeuvres or dessert. It pairs perfectly with fried food, simple fish or white meat.
The Conde' wineries are located on the hills surrounding Predappio, which has long been considered the true home of Sangiovese. The history of this variety of wine has been closely interwoven into that of our lands over the past two thousand years. Our winery stretches out over 110 hectares, 77 of which are vineyard surrounding the village, at a height of between 150 and 350 metres above sea level. Ninety percent of the vines are Sangiovese, while the remaining ten percent are Merlot, planted in fresher and deeper soils with a high clay and limestone content. These are ideal conditions to exhault its elegance. We have opted for high-density systems with five to six thousand vines per hectare, adopting low-vigor rootstock and opting for a lower yield per hectare.
The Domaine de Bachellery is a very old estate, listed in the city's records since the Middle Ages. Jacques de Bachelier, the President of the Royal Court of justice of Béziers, settled with his family in 1548 in this beautiful XV century fortress and gave his name the Domaine.
Domaine de la Dourbie, located at the foot of the Causse du Larzac, takes its name from the small river that runs through the vineyards before flowing into the Herault. Our philosophy displays a respectful culture for the environment, low yields, manual harvest and traditional vinification balanced with modernity.
Our wines are an expression of the Montalcino terroir, produced from an estate 90 hectares wide. including 8 selected for clones of Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet, The gap of temperature between day and night favors healthy grapes with proper level of acidity. Late harvesting and 5,000 plants per hectare produce wines with structure and complexity.
