Brandon P. Cowell

I have been on the Gulf Coast for most of my life and my family, being Ocean Spring residents for almost 100 years, has allowed me to love the uniqueness that it has to offer. My family stems from the Catchots, Fayards, Taylors and Fountains whom I am deeply proud to call my grandparents and cousins. I currently work at Keesler AFB, Biloxi, MS as a C130J simulator instructor and serve as a Captain in the 815th Airlift Squadron as a pilot in the Air Force Reserves. I have served in the military for ten years and have deployed four out of the last five years to Iraq, Afghanistan and Africa. I will be deploying again this fall to Southwest Asia for another tour, but when I return I will be devoting myself even more to the finer art of wine appreciation.

Wine, food and romance all go together and that is exactly how I met my beautiful wife Donna Rae LaPointe Cowell. I am a self-proclaimed chef and while hosting a cooking exhibition at my home I met my wife. After that night we have only been separated during deployments and even then we are never far apart. Donna Rae is a full-time nursing student who just finished her Masters degree in Nursing Education and has begun her Doctrine to become a Nurse Practitioner at University of Southern Mississippi. We have traveled together all over the world and look forward to sharing these experiences with you.
